Spice - A Taste of Indian Cuisine

Kamloops, BC

We love Indian Food and now we have some choice in Indian Restaurants in Kamloops.  We used to go to Goldie’s Flavors of India when it was the only place in Kamloops for Indian Food but not any more.  Since it opened up in the Northhills Mall, Spice has served up a Lunch Buffet that is second to none in Kamloops.  We like the variety in dishes which usually consist of Butter Chicken, Pork Curry, Prawn Vindaloo, Tandoori Chicken, a Vegetarian medley, samosas, papadums, and much more.  Their salad bar is a welcome addition and we like the fact that they provide a varying selection of dipping sauces, and chutneys.  Also included with the buffet is a nice selection of premium ice cream flavors and of course, my favorite rice pudding.

So what makes this place better than the Goldie’s Lunch Buffet?  Each of their dishes are distinct in their taste and showcases the plethora of spices used in Indian cooking! It doesn’t taste like as if every dish is cooked with the same magic “curry powder”.  If you haven’t tried Indian Food before, try their Lunch Buffet as there is something for everyone.  Although the spice level is a notch below my liking, I still like eating at Spice!
